Green Procurement
- Green procurement initiatives
As light is shed on various crises related to global environment, human rights, etc., the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (SDGs) was adopted as an international agreement. We are also aware of the social role of companies, communicate with society, and work on CSR activities to make contributions. We also make efforts day by day to reduce the adverse effects of our business activities on the global environment and human beings.
The ultimate goals of our chemical substance management are to reduce hazards to human beings and the environment, improve the work environment, and work on a wide range of risks including protection of human rights in local communities and sustainability of the global environment throughout the entire lifecycle of chemical substances (supply chain in terms of products) from materials, research and development, product manufacturing, product transportation and selling by our company, use by our customers, use by end consumers, through to the disposal of products (including derivatives) in the end.
- Green Procurement Guidelines
We ask business partners to survey chemical substances in products according to the Green Procurement Guidelines. Please refer to the documents below to take the survey.
This survey is intended to manage the risks of chemical substances on human beings and the environment throughout the supply chain to contribute to their reduction by managing chemical substances in our products and identifying chemical substances with possible hazards.
The cooperation of business partners who deliver materials and other products to us and our mutual collaborative efforts are essential to the promotion of these activities. We would appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
