关于现在的工作内容

集团统括本部中国经营改善Gr.主要在把握中国各集团公司的经营实际情况的基础上,提供经营改善的支持,通过合作,谋求集团的协同效应来开展业务。具体来说,就是定期更新各公司面临的有关经营课题的进展资料,并进行进度跟进。另外,在有设备投资、增资减资、吸收合并解散、设立新公司新工厂等案件的情况下,在确认相关资料、市场情况、财务状况等的基础上,制作公司内部申请资料进行审批。对本公司管理层,报告在中国投资的股份公司和子公司的经营实态。对于本公司的相关部门,也起到了与中国当地公司更顺利沟通的作用。

My job duties

The Special Task Force (China) at the Group Management Division is responsible for achieving group synergy and developing the Parker group business. With an emphasis on our various group companies in China, we conduct collaborative activities and provide support for improving management practices based on a deep understanding of their actual management conditions.
Specifically, we regularly update and follow up on the progress of management issues faced by each company. In addition, we check relevant documents, market conditions and the company’s financial situation and create internal requests for approval when there are plans for capital investment; increases or decreases of capital; mergers, acquisitions, and dissolutions; establishing new companies and new factories, and so on. We also report to upper management on the management status of Chinese subsidiaries and equity companies that we have a stake in, and play a role in facilitating smooth communication between Chinese companies and relevant departments at the head office.

关于工作的价值

在今年的新员工研修中,我介绍了日本和中国决策文化的差异,收到了比预想更多的反馈。“如果是在中国,从高层开始就需要速度感,并且需要高层自己的判断。和日本完全不同。如果不采用这种决策方法,决策系统就会紊乱,甚至会导致整个组织的紊乱。不仅要理解不同的文化,还要融入不同的文化。”“日本和中国的文化差异之类的话题,我想在海外赴任的时候一定会有用,所以要牢牢记住。”“我认为预先了解关于决策的文化差异是有帮助的。”听了他们的感想后,我希望更多的日本员工能够理解中国的文化和企业文化,让他们觉得了解这些对自己的工作有所帮助,并将继续致力于中日之间的跨文化交流。

What makes me satisfied at my job

At this year’s New Employee Training, I gave an introduction on the cultural differences between Japan and China regarding decision-making, and the feedback I received was greater than expected. Comments included, “The decision-making process is completely different from Japan’s. In China, the boss alone is responsible for decision-making, and speed is of the utmost priority. If such a process is not followed, the chain of command will be thrown into chaos, leading to disarray in the entire organization. I realized it is important not just to understand cultural differences, but also to fit into the culture”, “I will keep in mind the cultural differences between Japan and China, as this knowledge will definitely come in handy when I am assigned overseas”, and “Knowing the differences between cultures on decision-making will be useful”. The comments have motivated me to continue promoting Sino-Japanese cultural exchange through spreading an understanding of Chinese culture and Chinese corporate culture that my Japanese colleagues may find beneficial to their work.

喜欢本公司的地方

公司内的外籍员工虽然还不多,但有不少日本员工有着在国外工作和生活的经验,我觉得公司对外国员工的态度非常坦诚开放,环境也很友好。不论国籍,为了完成一个项目或业务,大家分工合作,互相帮助,看到这样的情景,促使我作为团队的一员更加努力。另外,工作体制上,弹性工作制、核心工作制、在家办公等制度也日趋完善,因此可以很好地平衡工作和生活,是一个非常舒适的工作环境。我深刻感受到,本公司最近经常提倡的“多样性”、“模式转换”并不只是口号,而是真正的在付诸实践。能在这样的公司工作我深感荣幸。

What I like about this company

While there are not many foreign staff in the company yet, there are quite a few Japanese staff who have had experience living and working overseas, making the environment here welcoming and friendly for foreign employees. Regardless of nationality, my colleagues share tasks, provide help, and cooperate with one another to complete projects and duties. They inspire me to work harder to contribute to the team. Furthermore, there are a host of work arrangements here such as flexible working hours and working from home that allow one to achieve a work-life balance, making it easy to work here. I feel that the “diversity” and “paradigm shift” that Nihon Parkerizing has been advocating for recently are not just slogans but something that management is truly putting into practice. I am glad to be working at such a company.

Z.Y在进入本公司之前,在本公司的中国相关公司担任翻译等工作,所以在进入公司之前,我们就有过多次邮件往来,以及访问本公司总部的时候有过短暂的见面寒暄,所以我们彼此都认识。当我听说Z.Y要进我们公司的时候,她的中文就不用说了,日语也很熟练,所以我确信她会成为非常难得的存在,因为我不懂中文,公司里使用中文的员工也很少。的确如此,Z.Y已经在中文相关以及本部门内的很多业务上给予了支持。总之有态度积极向上和可信赖的同事平日帮助我,还一起学习了不擅长的领域,感到心里踏实多了。

Coworker comments

Z.Y and I knew each other before she joined Nihon Parkerizing. She was working as an interpreter among other duties at an affiliated company in China, so I had the opportunity to exchange emails and even meet her in person when she visited our head office. When I heard that she would be joining us, I was convinced that Z.Y would be a great help to our company because she is fluent in both Chinese and Japanese, and neither I nor many other employees can understand Chinese. As I initially thought, Z.Y has already provided much support to Chinese-related projects and our department’s internal operations. Her incredibly positive attitude and reliability have helped me countless times, and I feel reassured that we can learn together in areas where we are not good at.
